I used a multi-thread download manager do d/l the .iso, but apparently during the re-combine process, the .iso becomes corrupt.

During the conversion process, each file is backed up with the name .F2T and .F2X. These are the original FoxPro 2.x files. It closes and a there is a message on the screen saying it stopped because of a fatal error or so. Adding the words "file" and "acii" to the command made no difference at all.

I believe it is a ploy to get us to download and pay for the deluxe version of the game, but that's just my theory. In recent weeks, the game has developed a 'fatal error' sporadically during play. There is no pattern to it. It is quite annoying to be doing well in a game, then have it crash on you.
